During the meeting, several points were discussed and pertinent suggestions were made to strengthen MINEA’s mega-program for the distribution of water to needy communities, informs João Baptista Borges.
In his intervention, the Secretary of State for Water made evident a high level of irresponsibility in the fulfillment of the Program by certain truckers, with emphasis on the cistern found in the Vila Verde Zone, in the practice of selling water at speculative prices.
João Baptista Borges says, the participants at the meeting were unanimous in stating that there are in fact, truckers who are breaking the rules previously defined and who have been promptly fined by the control system installed from the giraffes, where they are blocked.
